Voice Assistants
Link a RainMaker user to a voice assistant so "turn off the kitchen light" reaches their devices. The skills are cloud-side services deployed with the rest of the backend — the Voice Assistants module is installed by default.
Link Alexa Skill
Enable the ESP RainMaker Neo skill, link your user, and discover your devices in the Alexa app.
Coming soon
Link Google Home
Link the ESP RainMaker Neo action and see your devices appear in the Google Home app.
Before you link
- The user must have at least one device added in the ESP RainMaker Home app before linking the account, or the assistant finds nothing to discover.
- Sign in to the assistant with the same user you use in the phone app — linking a different account discovers a different (probably empty) device list.
Using your own skill
The pages above link the skill Espressif publishes. To ship your own branded skill or action against your deployment, you supply the credentials under Settings → Voice assistants in the Admin Dashboard — see Post-Deployment Configuration.
