ESP RainMaker Home App

ESP RainMaker Home is the phone app end users install to provision devices, control them remotely, and run Schedules and Automations against ESP RainMaker Neo. The same store build can use ESP RainMaker Neo or your private deployment — point it once, then use it as you would against any RainMaker cloud.

What the app does

  • Provision smart devices over Bluetooth or SoftAP, or by scanning a device QR code
  • Control devices from anywhere, including on the local WLAN when the phone and Node share a network
  • Organise Nodes into Homes and Rooms, and share access with other users
  • Run Schedules and Automations

Internally the app is a React Native hybrid that talks to the cloud through the phone-app SDK. For production branding and publishing, see Building custom apps.

Against Neo, the stock app does not show Scenes, in-app OTA, third-party sign-in, or the Voice Assistants and Integrations section. Voice linking for evaluation still goes through the Alexa and Google Home apps — see Get Started.
